Pub Trivia USA

How does Trivia work?

Trivia Night is a live, hosted event. The game consists of 2 halves with 10 questions per half. There is a halftime question and a final question. Categories include TV, movies, music, sports, pop culture, and much more. Team size can be as large as you want; the bigger, the better. **Teams/players need to support the venues that are hosting trivia events. Too many trivia players are attending trivia nights and are not buying anything unless they win a prize. The venues goal in having trivia is to sell food and beverage to patrons. These locations do not have to host trivia and may stop if teams aren’t buying anything. Some of these locations are going to make changes to their policies on how prizes are issued because of this. Support the venues!

Register Your Team

Please read prior to registering
-Teams are invited to tournament locations based on standings and home locations.  Your home area is the area you play most often.  It is not always possible to invite teams to tournament games in their home areas.  Sometimes teams might have to travel to other areas to compete in tournaments.
-Prize money and number of teams competing at tournament games is based on number of locations and number of teams competing each season in each area.  This is subject to change.
-Each team is only allowed to have 1 score per day.  First score received will be the only score for that day.
-Weekly scores should be entered by the following Sunday night.
-You DO NOT need to re-register each league season.

Tournament Game Rules:
-Same rules as regular trivia nights apply.
-Team size is limited to 6 players.
-No teams will be allowed in after the game starts.
-Only players that are present at the start of the game are allowed to play.
-Spectators may be allowed as long as the host location has the space.  That may not be known until that day.
-Anyone over the age of 5 has to be counted among the 6 team members or they CANNOT sit with the team and therefore should not attend.

*We need correct email addresses for team captains.  All invitations to tournament games are sent via email.
*Team names need to be appropriate and may need to be changed if deemed inappropriate.
