Thank you for your interest in Pub Trivia USA. We are looking for individuals who are out-going, well spoken and reliable. Due to supply costs, we are also looking for individuals who are willing to host a minimum of two shows per week. Training is based on individual aptitude, but usually is accomplished within 4 shows (trainees accompany current hosts during their shows). To properly train a new host, the trainee must be flexible with his/her schedule during the first 2-3 weeks to ensure he/she has the skills and tools needed to provide a professional — and most important — a fun show!
The show takes a total of two hours actual show time for the host and is set in bar/restaurant establishments. Shows run weekly at set times so a hosts schedule is very predictable. Since Pub Trivia USA is designed to bring patrons in during otherwise slower times of the week, shows are typically Monday through Thursday nights.
Compensation: Hosts are compensated $60 per show. (Including training) Pay increases are based on number of weekly shows, reliability, and job performance (max pay is $80/show).
